Highlights
of the trip include stops at Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, Vietnam
and Korean War Memorials, George Washingtons' home, Iwo Jima,
Smithsonian Museums, Capital Hill, the new FDR Memorial and Arlington
National Cemetery.
We stay at
the National 4-H Center which is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland,
just one mile north of Washington D.C. Chevy Chase is considered to
be one of the most prestigious suburbs of D.C. Housing at the center
is dorm style with three delegates per room. Each room has a private
bath and linen service.
CWF is a
great way to learn about our Nation's Government through
inter-action. The workshops, assemblies, committees and field-trips
all combine to bring citizenship to life.
We hope you
will join us in this exciting and educational event!!
The CWF 08 brochure
