The Eastern Region 4-H'ers ( from Carter, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington Counties) bake biscuits to share with fair attendees. Check back next August to see when your county will take part of this exciting event!

4-H'ers had 2,277 exhibits plus 34 educational booths in the 2008 Appalachian Fair! This photo shows the top blue ribbon winners: 1st - Hope Brooks, Hawkins County; 2nd - Logan Tipton, Carter County; 3rd - Megan Southerland, Greene County; 4th - Katherine Scheiman, Carter County; 5th - Kelsie Butler, Sullivan County.

 


4-H Day, August 25

Fashion Show, August 19, 7:00 p.m., 4-H Building

Each county may have up to ten participants. Participants will model either constructed or purchased garments. The show will not be judged. This is a fun show with no prizes offered. Come and join in the fun!
