Junior Achievement

     Eligibility: A county can send one 4th grade participant in each project area and one 5th grade participant in each project area to the multi-county contest. Check the 4-H Agents Handbook under Contests and Achievement for the project areas for each grade level.

 

     Awards: A 4th grade winner will be selected in each 4th grade project area and a 5th grade winner will be selected in each 5th grade project area.

 

 

Junior High Achievement

     Eligibility: There is no limit to the number of 4-H'ers that can participate from each county (6th, 7th, 8th grades). Check the 4-H Agents Handbook under Contests and Achievement for the project areas.

 

       Awards: A winner in each project area (regardless of grade) will be selected for the following awards:

1) Portfolio - The highest scoring portfolio in each project area (regardless of grade) will be selected.

2) Interactive Exhibit -  The highest scoring interactive exhibit in each project area (regardless of grade) will be selected. (For tips on presenting an interactive exhibit, please review the I. E. Board on the Make and Take page of this web.)

3) Premier - The highest combined score of exhibit and portfolio (regardless of grade) will be selected in each project area to receive the Premier Award. (In order to be considered for the Premier award, each 4-H'er must submit a portfolio and present an interactive exhibit at the multi-county contest.
